Fun at the Wallace Reunion

I know this is a little late, but on the 24th of July we had our Wallace family reunion where we had a blast with water. First Emma, Kiana, and their cousin Macy had a water fight with some boys that lived across the parking lot...

Next, after all the cousins arrived we had a water balloon toss where all the dads threw the balloons in the air and the kids tried to catch them. If they caught them they got to through them back if not, well I bet you can guess they got wet.

Here's Emma and Kiana trying their best to catch those water balloons.

After realizing that these little cousins weren't catching very many we let them have their own balloon toss. With each toss they made to each other they had to take a step back away from each other. There were a lot of popped balloons.

Since we used small balloons for the hand toss games we pulled out some giant sized water balloons for our next game. These were normal balloons filled with water. We partnered up and each held and end of a towel. Then we placed a balloon in the towel and launched them at each other. We were trying to catch each other's launches so as not to have the giant balloon explode on us.

We kept going with the water theme and next we got big blocks of ice and went ice blocking down a hill. We had races and built human trains. Emma got so good she could slide down the whole hill without holding on. After that we all went back to Grandma and Grandpa's and had dessert. All the cousins had a blast being together!!!!

We got to spend a few extra days at Grandma and Grandpa Wallace's house with James, Shelley, Macy and Sophie. We went to the Living Planet Aquarium and saw fish, seahorses, sharks, and jellyfish. Then we all went to Chuck E. Cheese's. It was the first time for us going and boy did we all have a blast. Between the kid rides and the games we were all entertained. Steve even stole a few tokens and played some video games and won the girls some tickets playing skeeball. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for all the great times!!!

That looks like a lot of fun. I have never been to Chuck E Cheese's, but it sounds enticing.
