We just returned from a wonderful time at Bear Lake with Steve's family. We loved boating and going on the tubes, except when they nose-dived, feeding the goats, building sand castles and having a mud fight, hiking the trail and the cave with all 17 kids in tow, the
pickleville playhouse and the
villain rap, and all the games and laughter in between.
Kiana, Emma, Grandpa Bingham, JakobIt's always the little moments that mean the most in life. It might be the way Grandpa holds your hand or coaches you on the softball field...
(Steve, Kiana, Shay, Jill, Emma),
It might be stopping to admire the beautiful creations all around us or pausing to enjoy the view...
(Kiana, Shay)
(Shay, Emma, Maddie, Nathan, Katelyn)
Sometimes it's capturing the innocent smile of little ones, and sometimes it's seeing who can be the first one down the mountain...
It's the 800+ steps we took in the cave holding hands...
and it's loving being on the beach, whether it's playing in the sand for hours and hours, laying in the water waiting for the boat to come in or enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet of mud.
Most importantly it's spending time with family. Thanks Mike and Gina (mostly Gina) for all the planning and preparation. Thanks Great Grandpa and Grandma Cornia for making the trip so we could spend some time with you. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Bingham for the fun memories and making all this possible. We had a great time at Bear Lake and look forward to next year.
